We are excited to welcome you to HayFest on the Historic Yates Center Town Square!
RevitalizeYC hosts this festival in Yates Center, Kansas, to continue our tradition of celebrating the Fall season and Woodson County's agricultural heritage each October along with the Friends for Life Breast Cancer Benefit Auction and Walk. We pay homage to our long-standing title as "Prairie Hay Capital of the World."

Admission to the festival is free. Most kids activities are free. A $ denotes activities with a fee. More details on some of the events are below.

Enjoy hay bale art displays throughout Woodson County.
Live music 11am-5pm on Saturday, October 14th on the southeast corner of the Square.
Terrifying thrills await you as you travel through haunted rooms such as the Butcher's Chamber, Doll Room, Wall of Hands, and more!

HayFest is an annual festival held on the Historic Yates Center Town Square in Yates Center, Kansas. This annual Fall Festival was re-branded to HayFest in 2022 to pay homage to our long-standing title as "Prairie Hay Capital of the World" and honor the agricultural heritage of Kansas. The festival features hay bale art, food trucks, live music, kids' games, family-friendly activities, a haunted house, a beer garden, and more!
