This year, you'll have three opportunities to witness the carnage & terror that take place inside Bender's Bloody Basement! Terrifying thrills await you as you travel through haunted rooms such as the Butcher's Chamber, Doll Room, Wall of Hands, and more!

Arrive at Light Hardware Building, located at 100 E. Rutledge, to take a haunted hayrack ride to Bender's Bloody Basement, hearing spooky tales along the haunted route.

HayFest is an annual festival held on the Historic Yates Center Town Square in Yates Center, Kansas. This annual Fall Festival was re-branded to HayFest in 2022 to pay homage to our long-standing title as "Prairie Hay Capital of the World" and honor the agricultural heritage of Kansas. The festival features hay bale art, food trucks, live music, kids' games, family-friendly activities, a haunted house, a beer garden, and more!
